Veheicles here look different than ones in America, especially the older ones. And there are many older vehicles.

 

This is a bus driving by, in the back you can see a pack of white Ladas. Many cars here are these standard issue Ladas, and the most popular color is white. Newer cars have variety, but if you own a older sedan, it is a Lada. The city is swarmed with them.

 

You can see trough the engine compartment on this truck.

 

This is an old motorcycle with a sidecar. It can probably fit four people.

 

The vehicle is by one of the places where I volunteer. I wonder how it ended up in this state, if it was abandoned and stripped or if it is waiting there for its owner to figure out what to do with it. I am also curious how it lost its nose.

 

I saw this out the window of my other volunteer site once. The man drove up in the truck which appears to have trash in its bed and people were on the roof of the building beating the carpet to get the dust out.
