Frozen Peas Spot
by Mister Orsen Welles

A little change this week in the sound journal. Often we post songs here, but this week we have decided to put up a candid recording of Orson Welles doing an advertisement for frozen peas. In a few days we will also post up a recording of a group called the Troggs, a band doomed to one-hit-wonderdom trying to record a second hit to follow up their song "Wild Thing."
Two snapshots of people overcome by a need to be more important than fate intended them to be for that moment.

The song journal is intended to be a showcase of songs and sounds from the community with new sounds posted weekly, on Mondays. If you have a piece of music you have recorded, a radio show that you've done, a weird song that your cat sings, a story you want to read, or any tidbit of sound that you have found particularly of note,
mail us! And with the beauty of the internet, you don't have to be located in the our home base of San Francisco. So even if you are far away, or have not spoken to us in a while, or do not even know who we are, you can still be part of the community. Also, if you have an idea of something you wish to record, but not the means of doing the recording, we have our own recording studio which you can use at your leisure!
Mail Jeremy to set something up.
