Recently I've been reading a lot of poetry. Mostly Emily Dickinson, some Spoon River Anthology, a bit of other people. In high school a friend recommended a book of poetry called "Diving Into The Wreck" by Adrienne Rich. I don't know too much about her, but I like some of the poems. This poem is called "Song".

The song journal is intended to be a showcase of songs and sounds from the community with new sounds posted weekly, on Mondays. If you have a piece of music you have recorded, a radio show that you've done, a weird song that your cat sings, a story you want to read, or any tidbit of sound that you have found particularly of note, mail us! And with the beauty of the internet, you don't have to be located in the our home base of San Francisco. So even if you are far away, or have not spoken to us in a while, or do not even know who we are, you can still be part of the community. Also, if you have an idea of something you wish to record, but not the means of doing the recording, we have our own recording studio which you can use at your leisure!
